The SSP (single stud plate) tie offers various solutions for connecting the stud to the top and bottom plates. All models can be used to make a connection to either the top or bottom plate, and several are suitable for double top plates and studs. Material: SSP 18-gauge. 1-3/8″ W. x 6-11/16″ L. Install to studs with 4, 10d x 1-1/2″, or to double top plate with 3, 10d x 1-1/2″, and to single sill plate with 1, 10d x 1-1/2″.
